01 Meet in real life
We started with type mixers: dating parties where people could meet in real life.
We wanted to add a little more spark to our dating parties, and give everyone a better chance of leaving with someone they wanted to see again. So we introduced each person to the person we felt suited them best before the party began, giving them a little time together before meeting the rest of the crowd.
We called it Mystery Match.
02 Start with just two
Thirty minutes before the party, we sent people on a one-to-one blind date.
We handpicked the person we thought would be their best match. A little time together, before everyone else arrived.
The demand for Mystery Match told us this deserved more than a slot before a party.
03 Make room for a date
So we made finite.
Our parties happened once every month or two. Meeting someone shouldn't have to wait for the next one.
With finite, the idea is simple: the chance to go on a date every week, not just when we host an event.*
We look for people who could suit you, so you can spend less time searching and more time getting to know someone.
finite is meant for real dates. Not online pen pals or endless swiping. Just like Mystery Match, we take care of the details: finding a day and time that work for you both, and choosing a place to meet. You get a plan you can look forward to, and the chance to meet someone new.
*A weekly date is not guaranteed. Introductions depend on suitable matches and availability, and both people choose whether to meet.
